In this, the Queen’s 80th Birthday Year, it is a great honour for both myself and Gerry, as your new Mayor and Mayor's Consort, to represent Prestatyn and Meliden, during such an historic year.
Having been residents of Prestatyn for many years, it gives us great pleasure to welcome all visitors to this web-site.
Prestatyn, with its miles of golden sands and the sea as its frontage and the hills of Offas’ Dyke as a backdrop, it’s an ideal location in which to live, work and visit whilst on holiday.
There is easy access to and from the motorway network via the A55 Expressway, and the airports at Liverpool and Manchester are around an hour away.
Prestatyn has so much to offer to the young and old, in-fact, there is something for everyone.
So why not come to Prestatyn? You’ll be made welcome, and we’re sure you’ll keep returning time after time, to this thriving town on the North Wales Coast.
Cllr Sharon Frobisher is Prestatyn Town Mayor for the year May 2006 to May 2007. She was elected on to the Town Council in June 2004, and represents the South West Ward of the Town. Sharon is married to fellow Town Councillor Gerry Frobisher MBE, who himself was Mayor of the Town in 2002/03. They live in Meliden and have four children, Adam (18), Charlotte (16), Alice (14) and Harriet (12). Sharon is also a County Councillor for the Prestatyn South West Ward and an Executive Committee Member on the North Wales Fire and Rescue Authority.
